Services of Our Cat Hospital in Buffalo Gre, IL

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination.  Our senior kitties should have a general checkup every 6 months.  Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems.  We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your cats feeling their best:

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your cat's complete health care needs.  We have the capabilities of performing in-house lab work.  With severely ill cats these tests can be performed immediately and also can be used to adjust treatment on hospitalized patients.

Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Surgeries are done Monday through Friday.  Early morning drop-offs are available.  Our surgical suite is equipped with gas anesthesia and intraoperative monitoring equipment.  All kitties are kept warm throughout surgery and during recovery.   Pre-anesthetic medications are given to reduce the amount of anesthesia that is needed and to help with post operative pain.
We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients.  Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Internal medicine consults:
We offer referrals to specialty clinics in Buffalo Grove and Elk Grove Village that can help us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Radiology Services:  Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high-quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Dentistry:  Dental health is very important to the overall well-being of your cat. As in humans, cats can develop peridontal disease, infected teeth, and oral tumors. Intraoral radiographs are available if needed. Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental x-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
