According to a national pet owners survey in 2017, just over 94 million homes have cats living as household pets in the United States. Doctors Bob and Gloria Esbensen opened Arlington Cat Clinic in 1988 in response to that growing number of feline families. They saw an opportunity to focus on feline diseases, in a “cat friendly/dog free” environment. The clinic fills a unique niche in the Northwest Suburbs, and was the third feline veterinary clinic established in the Chicagoland area.

Purrfect Care
The entire staff at Arlington Cat Clinic is friendly, helpful, and caring. The service my kitty has received is fantastic. The doctors and nurses really care about the health of your cat and spend time explaining things to you. They are thoughtful and thorough.Very professional and compassionate. They’ve gone above and beyond my expectations.
I have been going to the Cat Clinic since they opened. They are amazing people. Caring and loving, always treating my animals with a great deal of love and respect. All of the doctors were amazing. And, the staff (vet techs, front desk) are amazing. We have been through much together, and I am very grateful that they are here. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my cats.

We left a different cat clinic due to a very bad experience and Arlington welcomed us with great and thorough care. Our little boy kitty was diagnosed with diabetes 6mos ago. With the excellent care and instruction from Dr Linda, Julie, Carrie and all the staff, he is now in remission! We were told this is not common but that didn’t stop everyone at Arlington to help us work towards this result.

I moved to the area almost 3 years ago and was so happy to find a clinic that is specific to cats. They are very helpful, professional, and reliable, and you can tell that they all truly care for the cats. Over the 3 years, we have had different vets and vet techs assist us there, but no one truly stood out to us the way Dr. Grott did recently. We have a cat with special needs, and it can be very difficult but she was able to be helpful, informational, and show us a lot of compassion. We know moving forward that for our cat’s visits and yearly check ups, we will request for her!
I much prefer to take my cats to a cat clinic vs a regular vet clinic. Arlington Cat Clinic is a great place to take your cats. The doctors and the staff truly care about their feline patients. I trust them implicitly.
So happy we found this cat clinic. During the pandemic they’re taking great precautions to keep safe. The staff have been wonderful. The vet spent a lot of time answering my questions and providing information. We’ve had nothing but great experiences here.
